Hunter Choir Solo

Great song.  Unfortunately, the sound for the lead singers was not turned up loud enough, but still a good song and you can kind of hear Hunter.   He will be singing this again next Saturday and we will try to get better sound.

Hunter - stake conference talk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PV3OKaUU-k&sns=em

Here is the audio for Hunter's stake conference talk. He was asked to be prepared to talk on missionary work. The stake president said that they had asked a lot of people to be prepared to speak and they would let the spirit dictate. Hunter got the call! He spoke without a script.

Feb 8th Snow Day

Sent from my iPhoneStake conference cancelled for the weekend!

Saturday February 8, 2014

Lily - sledding down our street on a saucer sled and having a blast. I couldn't get her to quit. She had cute rosy cheeks in her bundled up snow outfit. Hot chocolate afterwards with dad. She crawled into bed around 4 pm and has been down for the rest of the night.
Sami - helped me build a snow cave. She loved outside and would push it until she got extremely cold and then would finally go inside screaming and crashing because she was so cold. Did that a couple of times.
Ryan - I went outside to see Ryan going head first on a sled down our street. Didn't recognize him because he was covered in snow!
Hunter - got him outside sledding a little bit. He had more fun when his buddy Tyson arrived.
Stacey - made orange rolls. Mmmmmmmmmm!
John - had fun in the snow with the kids. Came inside got warm and transferred videos from camera to computer. Made an emergency run to the store with Sven John where I got the last two gallons of milk. Cars where ditched on the side of the road everywhere. Watched ALL IS LOST with Robert Redford.

Sami - played out in the snow a lot. Spent quite a bit of time with her friend Tessa out in the snow until they both froze.
Ryan - built a sweet snowman (see picture) in a wheelbarrow and helped me shovel the snow.
Hunter - went to Tyson's house and they tackled each other in the snow. Hunter and I played Ages of Empire together.
Stacey - made us pancakes for comfort food in the morning. Convinced us to watch Duck Dynasty as a family (watched four or five episodes). Stacey and I stayed up late and watched the Mitt Romney documentary.

February 6th

Lily - came home from work To find Lily asleep on the couch in her favorite spot. She has been asleep ever since, and will probably sleep through the night. She asks to go to bed much like her Daddy did when he was little.
Sami - Sami told me her favorite thing to do was to " watch people." She said Her second favorite thing is to cuddle with her daddy...she told me this while cuddling with me on the rocking chair before she had to go to bed.
Ryan - showed Ryan how to grate cheese tonight. Didn't see him much as he was on the computer all night.
Hunter - on computer all night. Did go to the gym this morning!
Stacey - watched some TV tonight, the Goldbergs, Blacklist, and Tomorrow People.
John - lazy night since basketball practice was cancelled because of the snow. Woke up to clear roads, drove him to snowy roads. Took an hour to get home!

Quick memories from today

Lily - kissing and hugging me but wanted me to resist. She says "say no,no, no to my hugs and kisses daddy!" Then, she wanted to tickle my neck and said "lift your neck" and give me a raspberry on my neck.
Sami - wore same PJs as Lily so I teased them that I couldn't tell them apart. Then, started calling them Lami and Silly. Sami called Lily 'Lami' for the rest of the night.
Ryan - went to the church for pre-view of eleven year old scouts. At the end of the night found him in the gym dribbling a basketball and was amazed to see him dribbling between his legs with no problems.
Hunter - board of review for his Life advancement in scouts. Told me that some new girl in the ward was cute...cuter than Sloan Nelson. I asked if Sloan was cute and he nodded an emphatic "Yes!"
Stacey - practicing Spanish using the app Duolingo
John - stressful day at work, issues with health insurance that will cost us more than $5000 over what we expected. Sat in board of reviews for scouts tonight. Tired.

Quick Memories of February 5th

Lily - saying she wanted to give me a hug but had cold hands to put on my neck. Not really cold but she thought it was so funny
Sami - loves to play this game where she sits on my lap and we tell jokes that we make up. I laugh because her jokes are not funny and I told her that but she responded 'but I made you laugh!"
Ryan - played basketball at the church and went to Lowe's. Said he would still run and jump on me when I am 90. I said 'ohhh...my hip!"
Hunter - singing Little Lion man by Mumford & sons in choir. Kept singing it tonight.
Stacey - gave me a hug and said "I am freezing all day long and wish my husband was home to keep me warm!" Romantic, until I said "what Julio not cutting it?" Deadpan response was "no!"
